Occupy Earth

Building communities
Realizing we are all in this together
Realizing we all have a shared stake
Standing up for what we believe in
Knowing in our gut, what is right and what is just wrong
Hoping for a better world
Standing behind those who dare to demand it
Knowing that this might be our last chance to get it right
Wanting a world where people come first
Where the life giving properties of this planet are protected
Where the rights of the children and future generations are heard
Where we don’t let greed and money and power get in the way
Where we love one another
Where we save each other.

About SherryGreens

I am a Canadian mother of two young children who wants to be part of the movement to usher in a solution to climate change. I am going green, step by step, and taking my family along for the ride. On a typical day you might find me gardening, canning tomatoes, hanging clothes on the line and getting political. Sometimes it gets messy, sometimes it gets frustrating, but mostly it is filled with hope and optimism for a brighter future.

  1. A succinct formulation of the Occupy movement’s goals. Good work.

  2. Lynn Fang says:

Love it! Just as scottbartlett says.

  3. Watch this very good to know message to prevent the occupation protests leading to centralisation of the power!
